How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your Citation Mapper account and associated data, email our privacy team and include the details below. We will confirm your request and begin processing it.

Please include:

• The email address used to create your account
• Your full name (if available)
• The reason for deletion (optional)

What We Delete

Once your request is verified, we delete:

• Your account profile and authentication records
• Saved cases, networks, and research history
• Alerts, subscriptions, and preferences
• Any stored AI-generated summaries tied to your account

What We May Retain

We may retain limited data where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:

• Billing and payment records required for tax or compliance
• Security logs needed to prevent fraud or abuse

Processing Time

Deletion requests are typically completed within 7-14 business days. We will confirm once the deletion is complete.

Canceling Your Subscription

If you subscribed through Apple or Google, please cancel the subscription in the App Store or Google Play to prevent future charges. Subscription cancellation is handled by the store and is separate from account deletion.
